AIOU Admission 2025: Complete Eligibility Criteria for All Programs

Matric (Secondary School Certificate)

• Minimum Qualification: Middle pass (8th grade)
• Age Limit: No restriction
• Additional Requirements: Original school leaving certificate

FA/FSc/ICS (Intermediate)

• Minimum Qualification: Matriculation (10th grade) with at least 45% marks
• Age Limit: No restriction
• Special Cases:
• Science group requires matric with science subjects
• Arts/Commerce groups open to all matriculates

BA/BSc (2-Year Programs)

• Minimum Qualification: FA/FSc/ICS or equivalent (12th grade)
• Minimum Marks: 45% in intermediate
• Open Merit: No subject restrictions for BA General

BS (4-Year Bachelor’s Degrees)

For HSSC Students (4-Year Track)

• Qualification: FA/FSc/ICS (45% minimum)
• Program-Specific Requirements:
• BS English: Intermediate with English
• BS Computer Science: Math in HSSC

For BA/BSc Graduates (2.5-Year Track)

• Qualification: 14 years of education (BA/BSc)
• Minimum Marks: 45% in bachelor’s

BEd Programs

1.5-Year BEd (for MA/MSc holders)

• Qualification: 16 years education (MA/MSc) with 45% marks
• Teaching Experience: Preferred but not mandatory

2.5-Year BEd

• Qualification: BA/BSc (45% marks)
• Specializations:
• Science Education requires science background

4-Year BEd (for HSSC students)

Associate Degree Programs (2-Year)

• ADA (Arts): FA/FSc with 45% marks

Master’s Programs

• Qualification: Relevant 16-year degree (BA/BSc + MA/MSc)
• Minimum Marks: 45% in previous degree

Postgraduate Diplomas (PGD)
